As our priority has always been the safety and wellbeing of our clients, we are officially closing our office, Monday, March 23, 2020 until further notice. We have made this decision with heavy hearts as we feel this is the socially responsible response to the Covid-19 outbreak as a means to protect each other during this uncertain time.
In the time being until we can reopen fully here is our approach:
Telehealth appointments and Payment
We want to keep all appointments that we can, especially given the increased stress and anxiety we are all experiencing right now. This situation is fluid and our agencies are working with us to serve the public in the best way possible during this uncertain period, so don’t worry about paying. We also are offering discounted rates for those who are stuck, and some companies have begun waiving copays. We will stay on top of this situation daily and will either refund or credit accounts that are overpaid.
If you are interested in keeping your appointments via telehealth platforms, we will need you to fill out and send us the Telemental Health Informed Consent form linked here.
Instructions for Remote Signing
We also want to provide you with a number of different resources to use during this time. We encourage you to use them, they are provided below:
- Psychiatry.org: Telehealth
- UCSF News on Social Distancing
- CDC: Managing Stress
- BBC News: Advice on Self-Isolation
- com: Mental Health
We appreciate the support of our CPA family and hope everyone is staying safe during this time. We will keep you updated as we learn more and get through this together. Stay safe, participate in social distancing, and please, wash your hands!
